We are moving to CA! Yep, good ol' Hemet here we come. Johnny was accepted into the California/Nevada Lineman Union. His climbing class and orientation begin in Riverside, CA on June 22nd. Crazy. I can't believe it. I have that "hit by a bus" feeling. We received a letter in the mail and BOOM!, our lives are crazy. Crazy in a good way. What a blessing! I know the Lord knows me (US!) and hears and answers my prayers. I was just crying and praying the night before because I feel such huge amounts of motherly guilt for having to work this past year (even if it was from home). I am so ready to just be a mom again. Then, what do you know? The next morning we decide to move to CA. I will not have to work to help support us anymore. YEAH! Johnny's employer has been wonderful. My employer has been wonderful. I just had a perfect review. The fact is Johnny really wants this and we have been working toward it for over a year now. Bring it on!
In the last two days we confirmed Johnny will report as scheduled, notified our employers, found renters (the best anyone could ever ask for) for our home here in AZ, and created a mile long "TO DO" list.
Anyone have some spare boxes? Maybe some spare time to help me pack?
