Climbing Stud

When Johnny is waiting to be sent to a new location for work, like he is now, he tries to make sure and go climbing regularly. He enjoys climbing and needs to keep all the right muscles toned or he will be really sore when he goes back to work. I have seen him climb the palm tree in my parent's back yard, but never watched what he actually does at work. Today when he went to practice we all went to watch. The boys were ecstatic. They could not stop jumping up and down telling Johnny where to climb on the pole, to spin in circles, or turn around, or free climb like a monkey, etc. It was an awesome family outing.

It was fun to see Johnny demonstrate different positions they use while working to maneuver around objects, or reach out for tools.

I went back home feeling really proud of him and all that he learns at work every day. I also felt reassured knowing he is using his safety equipment as he should. Yea babe!

Sea World 2012

We went to Sea World last Wednesday with an education group. It was awesome. It was only $5.75 per person to get in. I had 28 people come with me from three different states. The total group was close to 300 people. It was great to see so many of our friends and we could not have asked for a more perfect day. It was gorgeous!

Once inside the park everyone went their separate ways, but we spent our time with our great friends the Huber family.

Our oldest Daniel and their oldest Ella already say they are going to marry each other and that is just fine by me...in 20 years!

We stayed at The Heritage Inn by Sea World for a few nights so we could spend some time with them. So fun. The hotel was not great, but the beds were the most comfortable I have slept in besides my own! Some crazy guy in the room next to us saw us come up the stairs with all 7 kids and called us the Duggars! Wow! Great fun!

By the way...I have lost 36 pounds as of yesterday, but you don't get to see any pics of me yet!

Baseball 2012

Our first Little League season has begun and man is it a lot of work! And money!

Forget just the sign up fees, there are extra uniform parts, working in the snack bar, selling rediculous amounts of chocolate candy bars (you have to buy out if you don't want to sell the candy), all per child. This is just T-ball! I think I am going to lose my mind.

But the boys are having a great time. Even though Jaxon threw a huge crying fit in the dug out because he wanted the helmet Daniel wore to bat (and ended up sitting out the second half the game) I am glad they are having fun. And they look so cute in their uniforms too!
